I actually bought some of the software myself a couple years ago, lol. It's still hard to create them (I think, so far), even with that software. Although in my remark I was thinking of AI just making the entire puzzles without human input. My understanding is that with the software, you still have your own seed words and theming and all that, and most creators will change up what the software gives them and just use it as a framework.

Fun fact: Most crosswords are already generated with software. Slate did a breakdown a while back before they finished their self-Vox-ification.
